  A: For right valve spring maintenance get j 38820 valve stem seal tool, j 39313 Spark Plug port adapter, j 43059 valve retainer tool, j 44211 on-vehicle valve spring compressor, and j 44214 flywheel holder. Raise the vehicle and take out the right camshafts to begin work. Beginning with the removal of both parts connecting the transaxle case and engine Oil Pan then proceeding to take off the torque converter cover. Place the j 44214 tool and let the vehicle descend to the lowest position. Before sparking plug removal clean the recess area to stop foreign material entry. Install the base plate of j 44211 over the Spark Plug opening before removing the Spark Plug from the service cylinder. Set the j 39313 valve into the Spark Plug hole and use steady breath pressure to block the valve opening. Install the arm and swivel nut of the j 44211 assembly onto its valve stud and tighten the swivel nut enough to reach the valve locks. Use a magnet to take off the valve locks from their position then loosen the swivel nut and swing the arm backward to unfasten the valve spring retainer and spring. To extract the old valve stem seal you can use the j 38820 tool set if needed. Put clean engine oil on the valve stem and inside the new seal before pressing in the seal using j 38820 . Insert the valve spring and spring retainer into their respective spaces. Move the j 44211 arm over both parts and apply just enough torque to the swivel nut for fitting the valve locks. Position the valve locks onto both sides of the j 43059 before dismounting the swivel nut and arm from the j 44211. Rise the vehicle up and replace the j 44214 piece before securing the torque converter cover in place. Let the vehicle down before securing the Oil Pan to its transaxle brace by tightening bolt threads to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.).
