How to replace the left automatic Motor and Transmission Mount on 2004 Cadillac DeVille?

To remove the left automatic transmission mount, first raise and support the vehicle, then support the powertrain assembly with an appropriate jack. Take off the nut that holds the transmission mount to its bracket and push down the jack just a little to create room for the engine to drop down. Then, remove the bolt and nut that attaches the mount to the frame and then take out 2 nuts that attach the mount to the frame, and finally remove the mount. Mount and attach the mount bolt and nut to the frame, keeping in mind the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Fasten the mount to the frame with the 2 nuts and lock them at 70 Nm or 52ft. lbs. Lift the engine and transmission assembly into place, then on the mount, tighten the nut to the mount and the bracket to a torque of 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). Finally, take off engine assembly support jack and lower the vehicle.
