How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 on 2004 Chevrolet Astro?

First, raise the vehicle then disconnect the HO2S connector before using an Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to remove Bank 1 Sensor 1. Use Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to remove the HO2S from the system. When installing the new or service replacement sensor you should apply the anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 made from liquid graphite and glass beads to the threads to aid uninstalls in the future. The Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) should be used to install the HO2S then torque it to 42 Nm (31 lb ft). To complete the service use the HO2S harness connector and lower the vehicle.
