How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 on 2005 Chevrolet Astro?

To get started, you should lift the vehicle. Take the HO2S connector off the sensor. Take the HO2S out by gripping it with Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B). Apply anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695, which is a liquid graphite and glass bead based compound, if needed, to the threads of the new oxygen sensor to make it easier to take off later on. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench J 39194-B to put the HO2S in place then tighten the sensor to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). When you have finished, secure the HO2S harness connector and position the vehicle back on the ground.
