How to replace the Throttle Position Sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Astro?

Before installing the new throttle position (TP) sensor, remove the engine cover and disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor harness connector. Remove the tp sensor mounting bolts next but be careful not to soak the tp sensor in any liquid cleaner or solvent to cause damage. Then, take off the tp sensor and the gasket from the Throttle Body assembly. Prior to installation make sure the throttle valve is closed. Install the tp sensor on the throttle shaft and turn it counter clockwise to align mounted holes. Install the tp sensor mounting bolts to 2 n.m (18 lb in) tightness and connect the tp sensor harness connector before reinstalling the engine cover.
