The procedure to change the power steering return hose starts with its removal from the power steering fluid reservoir. A hoist should lift the vehicle while the power steering gear hose becomes detached. The installation will start by introducing the new power steering return hose into the vehicle. Then follow appropriate steps from the fastener notice. Install the hose by inserting mounting bolts through the crossmember holes and tightening until they reach 11 nm (97 inch lbs.). Proceed with installing the new power steering return hose into the vehicle while following the fastener notice to prevent any harm. Install the hose by attaching the mounting bolts to the crossmember and torque them to 11 nm (97 inch lbs.). Rotate and install the hose to the power steering gear before securing the fitting at 27 nm (29 ft. Lbs.). First drop the vehicle down before reconnecting the hose to the power steering fluid reservoir then perform the power steering system bleeding.
