  A: The Spark Plug port adapter (J22794) must be used to service valve stem oil seals alongside valve spring compressor (Head-on) (J38606). Also needed are Valve Stem Oil Seal installer (J42078) to replace the seals and valve spring. Unbolt the valve rocker arms followed by the Spark Plug wire connection to the needed cylinder. Turn the wire 1/2 turn past its base and pull only on the boot. Before pulling out spark plugs at room temperature replace the engine's temperature with a valve spring compressor. Do not tighten or loosen plugs more than 2 turns when using compressed air to clean sparks. Set the Spark Plug port adapter (J22794) into the Spark Plug socket then add an Air Hose connection. Use the plastic face hammer gently to free up any valve stem key varnish. Exploit the valve spring compressor (J38606) to compress the spring and dismantle the valves stem keys afterward. Afterward, gradually ease the valve spring stress and extricate the tool. Take off the valve spring cap followed by the valve spring. When necessary remove both design valve stem oil seals along with their respective shims first and then the second design seals and shims. Use the j38606 valve spring compressor to clean the valve head area while placing the first form valve spring shim. Install the first and second Valve Stem Oil Seal shims without using the j42078 tool for the second design as needed. Position the Valve Stem Oil Seal correctly on the valve guide to avoid leakages and stoppart failures. Apply clean engine oil on the valve guide and oil seal before applying the first design oil seal on the guide. Install this seal with the Valve Stem Oil Seal installer (J42078) by pushing or tapping until it touches bottom against the valve spring shim. Use a measure to check the oil seal height when installed which must rest between 18.1 and 19.1 mm (0.712 - 0.752 inches) above the valve spring shim surface. Use the valve spring compressor to compress the spring onto j38606 tool. Then install the valve spring onto the head and put the valve spring cap and valve stem keys in place with grease holding them. To prevent valve spring damage push the valve pressure back gently while making sure the keys stay in position and then take the compressor out by tapping the valve stem lightly when needed. Take off the air supply from Spark Plug port adapter j22794 before unplugging it from the Spark Plug opening. Take measurements of the valve spring height if it passes 46.25 mm (1.82 inch), add the 0.5mm (0.02 inch) thick valve spring shim to bring it within specification. Hand install the Spark Plug first then fix it with 15 nm force and attach the wire before putting back valve rocker arms.
