How to replace the rear window wiper motor on 2004 Chevrolet Malibu?

Fist detach the Wiper Arm before undoing the Wiper Motor shaft nut and spacer to access the motor on trailblazer and envoy vehicles. Break the connection between the liftgate trim panel and start disconnecting the Wiper Motor electrical connections. Lift the Wiper Motor away from the gate by unplugging its 2 holding bolts. Put the Wiper Motor in its designated position and fasten it with two bolts using 8 n.m torque (71 lb in). Put back the Wiper Motor electrical connector and reposition the trim panel inside before you reassemble the spacer and nut to the wiper shaft. Lock the nut to 71 lb in (8 N.m) before closing with the Wiper Arm.
