How to replace the front parking brake cable on 2004 Chevrolet SSR?

In order to change the front park brake cable, pull the park brake and disassemble the lever. Lift the vehicle, pull off the rear park brake cables and disconnect the front cable with Park Brake Cable Release Tool. Install new cable making sure that it has been correctly seated and reconnect rear cables then lower the vehicle.
