How to Replace the Left Blend Door Actuator on 2005 Buick Century?

If you need to replace the left Air Temperature Actuator (left air temperature actuator), the process can be initiated by removing the left Instrument panel insulator and the knee bolster. Remove the mounting screws and the electrical connector from the actuator before removing the actuator itself. For installation, mount the new actuator so that the slots on the electric actuator driver are aligned with the flats on the shaft and the locating hole is aligned with the aligning pin on the HVAC module case. Insert the actuator driver onto the shaft along with it seated into the case for the HVAC module with its mounting holes coinciding with the mounting bolts on the HVAC module case. Mount the actuator with mounting screws which need to be tightened to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) and then connect electrical connector. Retie the knee bolster and the left instrument panel insulator and at that point calibrate the actuator.
