How to replace the power window switch on the rear door on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

The first step to replace the back door power window switch starts with using a flat-bladed tool to dig under the front edge of the switch plate. Gently pull the plate upward to free it from the door trim. First disconnect the electrical connector and detach the rear retainer tabs by pushing the switch plate forward. The small flat-bladed tool allows you to disengage the switch from the tabs on the window switch before taking it out of the switch plate. Place the power window switch into its designated slot on the switch plate followed by electrical connector connection and insertion of the switch plate rear border into the door trim panel. To engage the retainer clip on the front edge you should apply downward pressure.
