How to replace the Throttle Position Sensor on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

Begin the tp sensor replacement process by extracting the fuel injector sight shield followed by disconnecting the electrical connector of the tp sensor. Detach the two attaching screws of the tp sensor and remove it from the Throttle Body. Normal closed position of the throttle valve must be achieved before inserting the tp sensor into the Throttle Body. Insert loctite 262(R) (GM P/N 1052624) as well as an equivalent thread-locking compound onto the screws before attaching them to the Throttle Position Sensor using 2 n.m (18 lb in) torque. The next step requires you to reconnect the tp sensor electrical connector before replacing the fuel injector sight shield.
