How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

Before commencing VSS replacement you must support the vehicle at height. Remove the bolt retaining the sensor after disconnecting the electrical vehicle speed sensor connector. Examine the O-ring for damage then replace it if necessary. Connect the vehicle speed sensor and the retaining bolt by tightening it to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.). Complete the installation by connecting the electrical connector to the sensor then returning the vehicle to the ground.
