A replacement rear compartment lid latch requires the electrical connectors to be removed and the latch cable to be taken off. Unscrew the handle release fasteners on the inside and the fasteners on the latch assembly. Install a new latch assembly, and reconnect the cable, reconnect the handle, and reconnect electrical connectors.
