How to replace the right rear parking brake cable (Disc) on 2005 Buick Rendezvous?

First release the park brake prior to supporting the vehicle while raising it. Eparate the left side cable from the park brake equalizer by loosening its equalizer nut before removing the rear park brake cable retaining fastener and its bolt and extracting the park brake cable from the actuator. Drill out the 2 rivets which fasten the park brake cable in place to the Rear Crossmember. The new park brake cable must be positioned correctly before attachment at both the park brake cable bracket and the park brake actuator. Reattach the rear park brake cable by fitting its retaining nut followed by the bolt and install the left side cable onto the park brake equalizer. Set both fasteners to a torque of 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). 2 rivets must be used to fasten the park brake cable to the Rear Crossmember and an adjustment of the park brake cable must be performed before vehicle lowering.
