After placing the new intermediate shaft seal properly into the vehicle, align it with the floor pan holes before tightening the intermediate shaft seal bolts to 3 nm (27 inch lbs.). After completing under hood fastener installation of the fuel bundle the installer should move on to vacuum Brake Booster then to Steering Column and intermediate Steering Shaft.
