    A: Next steps for right Timing Chain replacement begin with Oil Pump removal. You need to use the crankshaft socket (J39946) to rotate the crankshaft until the primary timing gear marks line up. Move on to detach the right Camshaft position actuator housing leaving the actuator solenoids intact. The Camshaft holding tool (EN 46328) requires special caution for use on bank 1 (right) camshafts. Start by unhinging the right Timing Chain Tensioner's bolts before completely removing both bolts and tensioner. The hex cast in the Camshaft requires use of an open-end wrench to prevent rotation during Camshaft oil control valve removal. After loosening the right exhaust Camshaft position oil control valve you can slide off the right exhaust Camshaft position actuator from the Camshaft and separate the Timing Chain from its teeth. The same procedure should be used to detach the bank 1 (right) intake Camshaft position oil control valve and actuator. Disembark the right Timing Chain from the engine afterward inspect and clean all parts of the Camshaft timing drive system. To install the Timing Chain position its black links along the noted timing marks for bank 1's exhaust and intake actuators and intermediate sprocket. Position the Timing Chain onto the intermediate sprocket while making sure that the linkage remains properly aligned. Place the oil control valve lightly on the intake actuator until it reaches 120 nm (89 ft. Lbs.) torque but avoid rotating the Camshaft with an open-end wrench. Apply these steps again to install exhaust actuator and oil control valve assemblies. To finish the procedure install the right Timing Chain Tensioner followed by removing the Camshaft holding tool and installing the right Camshaft position actuator housing and finally installing the Oil Pump.
