  A: The first step to replace the right valve Rocker Arm involves removing right camshafts while maintaining each Camshaft follower in its original stationary hydraulic Lash Adjuster (SHLA) location and matching. The cleaning process should begin on the right cylinder head with removal of all its Camshaft followers. Fill the roller pivot pocket along with valve slot regions of the Camshaft followers with gm p/n 12345001 or equivalent lubricant when performing the installation step. The follower must be placed straight against the valve tip to enable the entire roller surface to touch the Camshaft lobe but followers that are used again should maintain their original positions. The last step for assembly involves setting the Camshaft followers on the valve tip and the shla. Here the followers must face the valve tip with a round head on the shla while the flat end touches the valve tip before installing the right camshafts.
