Start by removing the retaining bolts from the camshaft intermediate drive shaft beforeExtracting it from the engine. Inspection and cleaning should occur before installing the camshaft intermediate drive shaft. Install the camshaft intermediate drive shaft to the engine after positioning it correctly while aligning the bolt holes. Fix the camshaft intermediate drive shaft retaining bolts while keeping bolt torque at 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) then install the camshaft intermediate drive shaft sprocket.
