To take out the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve, dislodge the injector sight shield, disconnected engine vacuum pipe and purge pipe as well as the harness connector. Next, either take off the old one, then use the new one and reconnect all the parts and reinstall the sight shield.
