How to replace the inlet coolant pipe for the surge tank on 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt?

The first order in removing the surge tank hose/pipe inlet is to do with removing the surge tank cap with caution, given that the coolant temperature in the Radiator may boil over the boiling point at atmospheric pressure, thus leading to explosive boiling. Use the j 38185 hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to relocate the surge tank inlet hose clamp, then disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator and unclip the hose away from the underhood junction block bracket. Next, unclip the surge tank inlet hose from the Fuel Rail and move the hose clamp back into place using the j 38185 hose clamp pliers (J 38185) before taking the hose off the engine. During installation, it is necessary to it to the engine, secure it to the Fuel Rail with the relocated hose clamp by using j 38185 hose clamp pliers, (J 38185), clip the hose to the engine rail, and replace the air cleaner outlet resonator. Lastly, cut the surge tank inlet hose and mount it onto the underhood junction block bracket, hose to the surge tank, a hose clamp with the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) before filling the cooling system.
