First support the vehicle during the egr inlet pipe replacement process. The Exhaust Manifold allows access to the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe mounting bolt before lowering the vehicle. Proceed to remove the EGR Valve then detach the egr outlet pipe before unbolting the egr inlet adapter pipe components (2,3) and the egr inlet adapter pipe. The initial step for EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe installation requires you to follow the fastener notice in service precautions. Tighten the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe bolts and studs (2,3) to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Secure the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe bolt to the Exhaust Manifold by torquing it to 30 n.m (22 lb in) after raising the vehicle once again. First lower the vehicle before adding the EGR Valve outlet pipe and afterward installing the EGR Valve.
