    A: The first step to service the EGR Tube requires turning off engine ignition. During service remove the pipe assembly bolt from the EGR Valve while carefully pulling the assembly backward until you remove the gasket. You must unscrew the egr pipe assembly nut where it connects to the Exhaust Manifold after which you remove the egr pipe. The installation requires connecting the EGR Valve pipe into the Exhaust Manifold while using a new gasket and strictly following the fastener notice in service precautions. You must install the egr pipe bolt to the EGR Valve before clamping the nuts until they reach 30 n.m (22 lb ft).
