How to properly service and replace the PCV Valve on a Chevrolet Impala?

The replacement process of the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve requires step one to be the removal of the fuel injector sight shield followed by disconnecting the MAP Sensor electrical connector and dismantling the MAP Sensor. The 16 mm (5/8 inch) socket must press down the access cover which can then be turned counterclockwise by 1/4 turn to remove it. Start by removing the PCV Valve accompanied by its o-ring from the Intake Manifold. The first step is to install the new o-ring together with the PCV Valve in their designated positions and to then put back the access cover. After replacing the MAP Sensor install it with correct electrical connector connection before you put the fuel injector sight shield back into place.
