Start by disconnecting electrical wires from the EVAP canister purge valves together with hoses. Then unscrew the valve mounting bracket bolt to remove the EVAP purge valves. The EVAP canister purge valves should be installed on the manifold by following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Install the bolt to secure the valves while tightening its retaining bolt to 10 N.m (88 lb in). Reattach both electrical components and hoses to the EVAP canister purge valves before the installation is complete.
