How to replace the Blend Door Actuator on 2005 Chevrolet Malibu?

If you want to replace the Air Temperature Actuator, you should first disconnect the fuse on HVAC CTRL (BATT) and remove the left closeout panel and the knee bolster. Next, unscrew and remove the air temperature actuator and then remove the wire harness connector of the air temperature actuator. For the installation, reconnect the air temperature actuator wire harness connector and the air temperature actuator by tightening the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) while following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Lastly, reinstall the knee bolster, left closeout panel and fuse HVAC CTRL (BATT).
