How to properly service and repair a brake shoe on 2005 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to change the brake shoes, lift and hold the vehicle and then take off the tire and brake drum. Take out the adjuster spring and the actuator lever. Take the J 38400 tool and take the brake shoes off. Install the park brake cable again, use lubricant and reconnect the parts then lower the vehicle.
