How to replace the drum brake backing plate on 2005 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to remove the drum brake backing plate, we should lift the lower control arm and lift the brake drum first. Unwire required parts, take out the wheel cylinder and unhook the park brake cable. Install the new backing plate assembly, fasten it and reassemble all the parts. Lastly, set the drum brakes, and examine the rear alignment.
