How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2005 Chevrolet SSR?

Before replacing the windshield washer pump you need to open the hood to access the powertrain control module or ECM. Let washer solvent run out from the container before disconnecting the washer pump wire connection and hose joints. Insert a small flat blade device to disconnect the washer pump part from the solvent tank. Add the new washer pump into the washer solvent container and push it down until it clicks into place. Connect both the washer hose and washer pump electrical connection then pour washer solvent into the washer solvent container. After finishing install the ECM and seal the hood.
