How to replace the rear No. 2 Seat Cushion Pad and cover on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The replacement of rear No. 2 seat cushion cover and pad requires removing two bolts fastening the rear seat cushion assembly to the seat latch rod before removing the cushion assembly. Begin the replacement by taking out both the pull handle assembly along with the J-strips that connect the rear seat cushion cover to its panel. The seat cover should have hog rings removed followed by separating the seat cushion panel from both pad and cover. Proceed to detach the hook and loop fastener strips connecting the pad to the cover before removing the hog rings for the second time. The seat cover needs hog rings to secure it to the pad before you position the cover over the pad while pressing together the hook and loop fastener strips. Use hog rings to connect the cover flaps with the pad and install the seat cushion panel onto this combination. The installation continues with the J-stips which secure the seat cushion cover onto the seat cushion panel before assembly of the pull handle completes the process. The rear seat cushion assembly should be mounted onto the seat latch rod through two bolts until they reach a torque of 11 N.m (97 lb in).
