Begin working by taking both the liftgate and headliner off the vehicle for access. Apply a grease pencil to show the liftgate position on the body then unbolt the nuts from the roof before taking apart the hinge. Position the new hinge at the body marks and install the hinge retaining nuts afterward you should tighten the liftgate hinge stud nuts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft). After setting the hinge correctly install the headliner and replace the liftgate.
