How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) in the 4L60-E/4L65-E automatic transmission on 2005 GMC Canyon?

Lift and stabilize your vehicle to reach the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on the 4L60-E/4L65-E automatic transmission. Unplug the vehicle speed sensor electrical connection and take off its wiring harness. Unbolt and take off the vehicle speed sensor from your transmission space. Remove the O-ring seal after that. Install the O-ring seal onto the sensor part after lubricating it lightly with transmission fluid. Put the vehicle speed sensor into the transmission case and install both bolt 01 and bolt 02 before tightening them to 11 Nm (97 inch lbs). Plug the electric connections into the vehicle speed sensor then lower the car and add needed fluid.
