The process starts with vehicle elevation and wheel removal before breaking connections to both sensor and height components from the ball stud. First disconnect the height sensor connector along with the sensor link from the ball stud followed by screwing loose the sensor mounting nut. You should pull the anti-rotation tab then move the sensor toward the bottom to take it out of the vehicle. When installing the sensor mounting stud place its head into the key hole and push the sensor upward until the lower hole accepts the anti-rotation tab.
