    Q:
How to replace the Ride Height Sensor on Buick Lucerne? Posted by Customer
    A:
A replacement of the Automatic Level Control Sensor begins with vehicle lifting followed by removing the tire. Locate the sensor link from the ball stud and disconnect it from the height sensor connector before freeing the sensor mounting nut. You should first pull the anti-rotation tab then move the sensor downward to extract it from the vehicle. The sensor mounting process starts with placing the key hole facing of the sensor stud into position before elevating the sensor until the lower hole captures the anti-rotation tab. The sensor mounting nut must be tightened to 9 N.m (80 lb in) and the sensor link should be connected to the ball stud and to the height sensor connector. Place the wheel back before having the vehicle lowered to the ground. Obtain installation details and programming steps from the sections named Programming and Relearning.
