How to replace the Rear Ride Height Sensor on 2008 Buick Lucerne?

Raise the vehicle and remove the wheel as the first step in replacing the Electronic Suspension Rear Position Sensor. First disconnect both the height sensor electrical connector and the sensor link from the ball stud followed by loosening the sensor mounting nut. The anti-rotation tab should be disengaged while sliding the sensor downward to perform the removal. Drive the mounting stud keyhole until the sensor reaches its proper position then allow the anti-rotation tab to settle into the lower hole. The sensor mounting nut requires 9 N.m torque setting before reconnecting the sensor link on the ball stud and height sensor electrical connector. To finish the process you need to install the wheel then lower down the vehicle.
