  A: Begin Brake Pad replacement by looking at the brake master cylinder fluid level and draining fluid until the level matches the middle of the available space. Put the vehicle in a safe position to lift it and take off its tire and wheel. Twist two wheel nuts tightly before placing a c-clamp between the top of the brake caliper and back of the outboard pad. Continue tightening the clamp until the Brake Caliper Piston moves into the bore and circumvents the rotor.
