How to properly service and replace the EGR Valve on 2006 Cadillac DTS?

To install an EGR valve, pull off the sight shield of the fuel injector (when necessary), unplug the engine harness connector and remove it EGR valve. Wipe the mounting surface and check the EGR passages. Fit a new gasket, fit the EGR valve, fit the shield again, and reconnect the electrical connector.
