How to Replace a Shock Absorber (FE1, FE3) on 2006 Cadillac DTS?

A mechanic must start Shock Absorber replacement (FE1 FE3) by elevating the vehicle and sustaining its weight before removing the wheel in combination with the tire. Begin by raising the lower Control Arm with a jack then disconnect the electronic level control air tube linking the shock to the Control Arm before unfastening both the shock electrical connector and Control Arm wiring.
