How to replace the Cam Gear for Bank 1 (Right) Intake on 2006 Cadillac STS?

To replace camshaft position (CMP) actuator for bank 1 (Right) intake: disconnect the right intake camshaft position actuator oil control valve . Pull the actuator outward to disengage it from the camshaft alignment pin, take off the secondary Timing Chain from the alignment pin of the actuator and remove the actuator. Check and inspect the camshaft timing drive components. Next, find the camshaft alignment pin hole on the back of the actuator which will mate with the camshaft alignment pin and find the timing alignment mark on the front of the actuator. Hook the actuator timing gear teeth to the secondary Timing Chain so that the timing actuator align mark align the o/s Timing Chain paint mark. Put the actuator over the alignment pin of the camshaft and install it onto the camshaft and install the right intake cam shaft position actuator oil control valve.
