How to replace the Oil Pressure Switch on 2006 Cadillac STS?

In order to replace the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor or Switch, come off first, the oil filter adapter after which remove the oil pressure sensor and or switch from filter adapter. Check and replace the oil filter adapter. Also, make sure it is clean. After that, put a new O-ring over the oil pressure switch, making a sure you adhere to the Component Fastener Tightening Notice, and then screw the oil pressure switch to the oil filter adapter, tighting it to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.). Finally, replace the oil filter adapter.
