How to replace the Timing Cover on 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

The Timing Belt cover needs a replacement which requires removing the Timing Belt along with the camshaft gears and Crankshaft Gear followed by the Timing Belt automatic tensioner bolts and the tensioner itself. After the Timing Belt idler pulley bolt comes off you should remove the idler pulley then tackle the rear Timing Belt cover bolts before removing the rear Timing Belt cover. Start the installation process by setting the rear Timing Belt cover in position then secure with rear Timing Belt cover bolts at 10 nm (89 inch lbs. Torque value). Screw in the Timing Belt idler pulley along with its bolt before tightening it to 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Secure the Timing Belt automatic tensioner onto its placement before fastening the tensioner bolts to a torque of 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Take extra precaution to protect camshafts from nicks and damage when you install the Crankshaft Gear. Finally, install the Timing Belt.
