How to remove and replace the brake caliper bracket on the front on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

When working on the front Brake Caliper Bracket you must hold up its position using mechanic's wire to protect the hydraulic hose during installation. Start by sliding the caliper off its bracket without unhooking the hydraulic brake hose from the system before removing the brake pads at the front wheels. Unscrew without disconnecting the two bolts that hold the caliper bracket in place. Keep threads of Brake Caliper Bracket bolts and threaded holes in caliper bracket clean during installation. Treat both Brake Caliper Bracket bolts with threadlocker before putting in the caliper bracket and fastening the bolts at 180 n.m (133 lb ft). Place the front brake pads inside the brake caliper last.
