  A: In order to replace the Hood Cable, first, remove the Hood Latch and open the hood. Remove the Hood Cable from the Hood Latch, quivo it with a string for ease of installation through the engine compartment. Then, take off the three fasteners holding the hood handle to the vehicle and disconnect the Hood Cable from the handle. Take out the Hood Cable from the vehicle. Remove the grommet of the wheel opening. For installation, move the string to the other side of the new Hood Cable and run both into the passenger compartment and remove the string. Mount the grommet in the wheel opening and connect the Hood Cable to the hood handle, ensuring that the three fasteners are put in place and holding the handle to the vehicle, firming them up to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Pull the string along with the Hood Cable through the engine compartment; take the string out, hook the cable to the Hood Latch, attach the Hood Latch, and then close the hood.
