How to replace the HVAC control module on 2007 Cadillac STS?

To replace the HVAC Control Module, please first remove the ashtray, and then remove the radio. Next, you will unscrew the HVAC control module retaining screws and also undo the electrical connectors joined to the HVAC control module before removing the module proper. While installing, replace the HVAC control module in its place and re-attach the electrical connectors and also follow the Fastener Notice. Secure the HVAC control module into the retaining screws, tight them to 2 N.m (18 lb in). At last, reinstall the radio and the ashtray and perform programming and relearning if needed.
