• Q: How to replace the front door window regulator on 2007 Cadillac XLR?

  A: You should start replacement of the front door Window Regulator by lowering the door window and disconnecting the battery. The door panel electrical connector and large water deflector must come out to access the rear of the door after removing the door trim panel. You can access the upper and lower regulator mounting fasteners by removing the small mastic seals located at the top of the door and the small plug installed at the bottom of the door.
