  A: The replacement of the passenger front door power Door Lock Switch begins with turning the Ignition Switch to off while you detach the door trim panel. Start by removing the retaining screws found on the rear side of the upper trim panel then proceed to take off the upper trim from the door. Start by taking out the inner energy absorber from the door panel and then remove 4 rear retaining screws from the armrest followed by one forward retaining screw from the starting end of the assembly. Disconnect the armrest wire harness then remove the armrest assembly by first securing the finish with duct tape during Power Window Switch assembly removal. After accessing the power Door Lock Switch assembly from its pocket in the door trim panel disconnect the wire harness from the power Door Lock Switch. The power Door Lock Switch assemblies must be placed onto the armrest switch plate applique before connecting the wire harness to the Door Lock Switch assembly. Install the lock switch assembly into the trim panel pocket by removing protective tape after the process. Secure the Door Armrest onto the trim panel by attaching four rear screws and one forward screw and ensure proper torque at 10 n.m (89 lb in). The door panel requires installation of inner energy absorber followed by the upper trim panel which requires retainers at the back to be secured at 10 n.m (89 lb in) torque. The last step is to put on the door trim panel.
