2007 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the rear suspension sway bar link on 2007 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: The Sway Bar Link replacement in the rear suspension begins with vehicle elevation and tire and wheel removal before proceeding with the installation steps. Before unstowing the Sway Bar Link stud apply the back up wrench to lock the link stud from turning while you unscrew all Sway Bar Link nuts from the lower control arms and then remove the link nuts and links from the shaft. You must repeat the usage of the back up wrench to connect the sway bar links with link nuts to both sway bar and lower crossmember before tightening Sway Bar Link nuts to 76 n.m (56 lb ft). Reinstall the tire along with wheel assemblies before lowering the vehicle.
