The crankshaft balancer holder (J 38122-A) should be used to stop crankshaft rotation before loosening the crankshaft balancer bolt and afterward the bolt must be discarded. The next operation is to extract the crankshaft balancer. Lay the new crankshaft balancer into position and torque in a new crankshaft balancer bolt. The crankshaft balancer holder (J 38122-A) should maintain balancer stability when torqueing the bolt. Conclude the crankshaft balancer bolt installation by using an angle meter (J 45059) to achieve a torque of 100 n.m (74 lb ft) and 125 degrees. Reinstall the Drive Belt last.
