    A: To remove the intermediate steering shaft seal, make sure the ignition is off and remove the key from the ignition latch to lock the Steering Column. Then, take of the intermediate shaft seal at the Steering Column, and disconnect intermediate shaft from the Steering Column. The intermediate shaft, depress it to fold it and then the intermediate shaft seal bolts, mark that it might be required to go down on the lower part of intermediate shaft seal to the steering gear before one removes its cavity. Installation involves gasketing the intermediate shaft lower seal over the intermediate shaft and onto the steering gear and the installation of the intermediate shaft upper seal over the lower seal and to the instrument panel. Mount the intermediate shaft to the Steering Column, and mount the intermediate shaft seal to Steering Column following the fastener notice. Last, install the intermediate shaft seal bolts and tighten them to 3 n.m (27 lb in).
