How to replace the lower ball joint on 2007 GMC Envoy?

When replacing the lower Ball Joint start by lifting and holding the vehicle followed by removing tire and wheel. You need to disconnect the Steering Knuckle unit which contains both the Wheel Hub and bearing before taking out the lower Ball Joint flange through chiseling. Lower the vehicle and install j 9519-e and j 34874 tools on the lower Ball Joint before removing it from the lower Control Arm preparations. Use the tool setup to install the lower Ball Joint onto the lower Control Arm by adding the new Ball Joint followed by the Ball Joint remover and installer set (J 9519-E), Ball Joint installer (J 41435), and receiver (J 45105-2). Place the lower Ball Joint into the Ball Joint remover and installer set j 9519-e along with the Ball Joint flaring adapter j 45105-1, flare the joint flange, and remove both tools afterward. After linking the Steering Knuckle to the Wheel Hub and bearing you can put the tire back on and wheel then lower the vehicle to check the front wheel alignment.
